RISK

Not what if, but how." Pause

Risk takes the stage knowing there is no right nor wrong in question. No fear of being a fake or fool, just gutsy faith that allows reality to be what it is, imperfect, uncomfortable, uncertain, vulnerable, and at times scary. The truth.

Risk exposes our insides: the presence of failure, the truth of suffering, the whim of curiosity, the invitation to create, all nestled together in the womb of Security. The perfect picture of God holding humanity as they dream, explore, wrestle and climb, fall down, get back up again, and try again. Never alone. Always protected. Unconditionally loved. Continuously nurtured in wisdom and understanding. The Truth.

Risk is a challenge. The kind of challenge that breaks through strongholds, whatever vice is holding you back. The kind of challenge that longs to know God as He is, patient, kind, good Father, protector and provider. The kind of challenge that sees God do something big, not just for you but through you. Miracles and wonders.

Don’t be afraid. Ask God what risk He wants you to take today, and try it. He’s already there.

Bless.

“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. Mathew 14:28-29
