SWEET SPOT

The point or area on a bat, club or racquet at which it makes most effective contact with the ball. "A bigger sweet spot forgives off-center hits." Pause.

If you have never experienced a ball, any ball (tennis, base, racquet, pickle, ping pong) coming at you in perfect alignment with the sweet spot on you racquet (paddle, whatever), then you've missed out! It feels like you did nothing and the ball just effortlessly moves over the net. That didn't happen much in my tennis days, but when it did, WOW. It felt so good. Perfect alignment. The ball. Sweet spot. Move. Pause.

When God made man (you and me) He placed in us a sweet spot, a place where the Divine and the human collide. The Divine/God is unique to each individual. It's the name He gives you before birth that identifies with a piece of His character, who He is (i.e., Wise, Brave,Tender, Wonderful, Warrior, Friend, Healer, Rescuer, Lover, and the many more). The human part is our personality (quirks), our mind, will and emotions, our talents and abilities. The two, becoming one, make up our sweet spot. Pause to move.

Alignment is key for life (experiences) to connect with the sweet spot. I can't say that clearer. If you don't position yourself, you may not experience the Presence of effortless Peace when your heart is broken, your plans don't flourish, you're not sure what to do next. The sweet spot is everything: your peace, your joy, your comfort, your first love, your brave, your wise, your tender, MOVING and LIVING inside/out.

It won't happen all the time. Unfortunately, past experiences and present distractions have a way of getting you out of position, and you miss the ball completely. And that's ok. Forgiveness is in the air you breathe. Eventually, you will realize it's best to let those things go, so the sweet spot can have more room.

"A bigger sweet spot forgives off-center hits." Pause to thank Jesus.

Bless.
