An interconnected world of mystery, fallibility, and abundance. A place where all is well, even when it's not.
Pause.
I love the woods. It's not perfect by any means, but it's real. Real community living together in the natural. You can't get better than that. The trees know they are trees living on STAND BY, 24/7. The birds know they are birds set on FLY - NEST - REPEAT. Wild plants and animals have their PASS GO card so they can scatter and roam anytime they want, without apology. The buds and butterflies, rocks and streams, all know their place for the Common Good.
The kingdom of God is like the Woods. A community with no beginnings and no ends. If they could speak, I know they would tell you to come. Don't pack. Just come. The change of scenery will change your life. No expectation, but to BE. No rejection, but to RECEIVE. No fear, but to BELIEVE. No agenda , but to look and SEE.
That God and man, Life and love, is an open book mystery. As Richard Rohr writes, "Mystery doesn't mean something is unknowable, it means that there is endless knowability." What a beautiful invitation to ask and receive.
Fallibility is the path that unfolds the mystery of God with us. Those moments where Light exposes the dark and with eyes wide open, you see your humanness kneeling before His Holiness. Forgiveness, Grace, and Mercy flowing down your cheeks. Love breathing new possibilities, new creativities.
The Kingdom, like Woods, knows they have enough. Three- in -One is enough. Hard to imagine Life that way, but the mantra is, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" "All things are possible with God"
The journey is to become what you believe. Woods will take you there.
Bless.
